until 230 PM EST Friday for Ottawa... Van Buren... Calhoun...
Kalamazoo... Barry... Eaton... Allegan... Ionia... Kent... Muskegon...
Newaygo and Oceana counties...

At 1009 PM EST many of the smaller rivers... creeks and streams
continued rise due to snow melt of the past several days... and the
quarter to half inch of rain that has fallen through 10 PM this
evening. Many of them were near bankfull.

Rainfalls of between half an inch to an one inch was expected by 5
am Friday morning. That will result in nuisance flooding near low
points on area streams... creeks and smaller rivers. This includes
ponding of water in urban area and elevated river or stream flows.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the
roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross
